How I got to Number 1 on Google in less than a week

Recently I have ended up on the first page of google searches for 2 seperate keywords I have been targeting. For one of the searches I was number 1. The top link. The most clicked link. When it comes to online marketing traffic is key. And when it comes to traffic Google is king.

To do this, I used three tools. The Tools are IBOToolBox, SocialAdr and Trafficswarm. I also used on process that takes advantage of these tools. The process is what Rob Fore calls, Posting on Purpose. The idea is you take a search phrase and post in a way that it directly relates to that search. This involves using the phrase in the title and through out the article.

IBOToolBox is a site that allows you to post to IBOSocial.com. It is a blogging/ Social networking site that get thousands of views a day. Google loves these big sites because they are reliable sources of material. The large number of hits is an indication that it is not some scam site. So by posting your material on a big site like IBOSocial.com you get a "bump" in search rankings.

SocialAdr  is a site that helps you create backlinks among web 2.0 sites. Backlinks are very important to Search engine optimization because they are a way gauge popularity. More Backlinks equals more popularity to Google. A web 2.0 site are sites like Facebook, Digg, twitter, Tumbler, etc. The reason you want back links on these sites is the same reason you want to post to a site like IBOSocial. The bigger the site, the more important it is and backlinks on important sites equal more popularity.

The third tools is Trafficswarm. TrafficSwarm is a link sharing site where members click on each other links. The idea is that it is advertising to the other members. However, it is not targeted so it doesn't convert real well. The real power is increasing your website hits. To google Website hits equals popular and important.
So to recap, you post to a popular site. You link to your post on popular web 2.0 sites. Finally, you drive traffic to your post to make it more popular and important. This results in a first page search result. Using this method, I went from page 5 to 1 in less than a week, Give it a shot.
